About Me.

By being an enthusiastic individual that always aims to go the extra mile, from creating, to providing, to informing, I always go above and beyond to demonstrate and improve my abilities. I'm easily motivated when it comes to work I enjoy, allowing me to excel at tasks. I hope to further improve my skills beyond my current ability, and gain experience in a challenging new work environment.

Unfortunately all of my industry work is under NDA/not released yet. But I'd love to talk about the skills I've gained and the work I've done more generally.

Education

2018-2022

BSc Technical Game Development with First Class Honours

Teesside University

I had somewhat of a head start at university when it came to practical skills and in engine work, and it showed in my projects and submissions. Knowledge of C# programming in Unity rather than just Unreal blueprints proved invaluable. I participated in many more game jams and group projects, and created many prototypes that solidified my specialism of technical game development and prototyping. I graduated with First Class honours and was put forward for an internship at Radical Forge

2014-2017

NextGen Level 3 Diploma in Games, Animation and VFX at Distinction

AS-level IT at Merit
Sunderland College

NextGen was where I really began my game development journey proper. I had dabbled previous with HTML5 and Unity but it was here that I learned the practical skills to let me put my designs into practice. I participated in many game jams and even some promotional content for the college. I was the only graduate to specialise in VR and did so well I was invited to show my work to industry partners such as Sony and Rebellion Games in London.

2009-2014

GCCEs Inc. English + Maths

Southmoor Academy

12 GCSEs with 7 A*-C (Inc. English, Maths, and Science)
